Where do I take the 5-hour Pre-License Course?

Understanding the impact of COVID-19, we are now offering the Pre-License Course via Zoom so you can take the course in the comfort of your own home.
Do you offer pick-up/drop off services?

At this time we do not offer pick-up or drop off services. We ask that students meet their instructors in front of the driving school at the time of their lesson.
Why are they 90 minute sessions, but 45 minute lessons?

In our experience, we find that our students are able to learn and retain much more from a 90-minute session, so when we schedule your lessons, you take two 45 minute lessons each time.
I don't know how many lessons I need. How do I choose?

Don't fret! Give us a call at (718) 595-1999 or send us an e-mail at: info@goldsuccessdriving.com. One of our experienced team members will assist you in choosing the package that's right for you.
Will you provide the car for my road test?

Yes! With our lesson packages, your instructor will be taking you to the site of your road test, so you will test in the same car you have been practicing in.
I signed up for this package but I think I need more classes. Can I upgrade?

Of course! As long as you have not taken your road test, we offer the option to upgrade your package.

What if I need to reschedule my lesson?

We know things come up unexpectedly. We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled lesson to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations received within 24 hours of your lesson will incur a loss of one 45 minute lesson.
When will my road test be?

Standard road testing wait time is approximately 4-6 weeks from your registration date depending on the season. With the impact of COVID-19, there may be an additional week or two wait time. In a rush? Call us at (718) 595-1999 and ask about adding the Expedited Road Test upgrade to your package!
What do I need for my road test?
On the day of your road test, be sure you have the following with you:
- Photo Learner's Permit (Interim Permits will not be accepted)
- Original MV-278 Certificate
- For any students under 18: signed MV-262 form
- Glasses (if you require them per your permit. Even if you wear contacts, try to wear glasses on the day of your road test)
- CONFIDENCE! Remember all the techniques our instructors have taught you and be confident in what you've learned.
Do you offer lessons on manual transmission?

At this time we do not offer classes on manual transmission cars. Stay tuned!
